is able to carry out minimal daily tasks, such as brushing of teeth, coupled
with significantly reduced mobility.

Ayurveda sees disease as
an imbalance; an unwanted interruption in the body's natural equilibrum.
Ayurveda attributes this condition to aggravated Vata dosha. The aggravated
vata causes dysfunction of all the Dhatus leading to the Ojus Kshaya (depletion
of Ojus) generating negative effects at the physical and mental level, lowered
immunity.
